Below is a list of the Cope men that served in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War from 1861-1865.Betty Majors and Thomas Walling,Jr suppiled me with the data, and I posted it here.I added notes of some,and if your ancester is listed and you would like a note added,please feel free to contact me.
I couldn't decide on how the best way to do this list.I thought about going by state,but thought best to just go with all states,making it easier to find your ancester in case you were not sure which state he may have been in.So,below is the list.
I've also added a chart showing the Tennessee Cope men as well,with their father and grandfather listed.This was supplied to me by Thomas Walling,Jr and in the table format by John Dolan-Heitlinger.
