Oregon Farm Fresh Beef is located in Yamhill, Oregon. Owners Ed and Linda Horacek have been providing
natural, quality beef direct to private parties for 31 years. Their herd of Polled Hereford cattle are raised on all
natural rations of green pasture, local-grown alfalfa and hay. From birth to weaning to finishing on a generous ration
of local grain, the animal never leaves the ranch and no hormones or additives are ever used.
The steers are pre-sold to private parties by the 1/4,1/2 or whole locker beef. A mobile slaughter unit
provides delivery to the meat locker where it is aged and cut and wrapped to the buyer's specifications.
Because the cows calve in the spring, the beef animals are finished and sold in the fall and winter 21-22
months later.
