February 2006

American Cancer Society

2350 Oakmont Way, Suite 200
Eugene, OR 97401

One of our services is free wig and prosthesis banks to women who are experiencing side affects from their cancer treatment. In those banks we also receive donations of hats, scarves, turbans, etc. I manage these types of services in 11 counties, so when we receive donations here, we share with other areas if needed. We are always in need of caps, turbans, and any kind of head covering that looks nice, but is also comfortable on a bald head with possibly sensitive skin.

Sunrise Enterprises Inc.

Sam Gardner, Executive Director
 sam@sunriseenterprisesinc.com
1950 NW Mulholland Dr.
Roseburg, OR 97470
(541) 673-0195

Our organization trains and employs about 110 people with developmental disabilities. You can find out a little more about us at www.SunriseEnterprisesInc.com. Each year we have two big events for our consumers: a picnic and a Christmas party. Since many of the consumers live in group homes, etc., the Christmas party is the highlight of their holidays. We have a big dinner with all the trimmings and make sure each person who attends gets a gift. The Christmas party is open to the entire community and we usually have about 300 people in attendance. Some of the things we could use: Adult-aged gift items (clothing, games, etc.) for the Christmas party, Prizes for our picnic, and Table decorations for the Christmas party. We would love to get donations of these items if your group is interested. Let me know if you need further information.
