REFEREES

I would like to first off introduce my self.  My name is Mike Johnson and I will be handling the referee assigning this year.  I have grown up playing soccer for Woodbury and refereeing in Woodbury and South St. Paul. This is my first year involved in the New Richmond soccer program and I look forward to working with all of you.

I will be holding a mandatory referee meeting in April.  I will have more info in the weeks to come.  Please check the website for more details.

All referees need to be recertified or for you new referees out there you will need to take a 16 hr class to get certified.  Since there are no classes held in the Wisconsin area it’s ok to get certified /recertified going to a Minnesota referee program.

Please check out this link http://www.minnesotasrc.org/ to learn more about the clinics in Minnesota.  If you would like to be a new referee this year please look at this link New Referees to see what grade level you must enter to.  If you are a referee and need to be recertified look at this link Recertifying Referees to see what clinic is right for you.  Please check out the fee link Registration fees and bring the proper amount when attend your class.

I would suggest all new refs 16 and older attend the Grade 8 clinic in White Bear Lake on March 28th for day 1 (clinic #9115) and on April 4th for the day 2 class.

I would suggest all new refs 15 and younger attend the Grade 9 clinic in White Bear Lake on April 4th (clinic #9120)

The referees that need to be recertified who have less than 3 years experience should attended the Beginner Recertify class on March 28th in White Bear Lake (clinic #9117).

The referees that need to be recertified who have more than 3 years experience should attended the intermediate class on April 4th in White Bear Lake (clinic #9118)

To register for any clinics all of you will need to send an E-mail to sra@minnesotasrc.org and Copy me @ Mike.Johnson@graybar.com with your name, clinic# and date you wish to attend.  If you are recertifying, please include your USSF# and your current grade.

Please sign up for your class as soon as possible.

Once you receive your copy of certification please contact me @ Mike.johnson@graybar.com

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
