Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan en route
to Alaska I .......... Alaska II .......... Alaska IV
After an overnight leg, we dock in Sitka and take in a few sites in this small fishing town. History is evident here, from the original Tlingit peoples to the Russian Settlers and the Purchase by Seward for the U.S.
Touring Sitka.
Totem Poles. Rain forest. Russian influence and Orthodox Cathedral. All these are very much a part of Sitka.
These totem poles are part of a rain forest interpretive center.
