Our last real stop is Ketchikan, which is larger than Sitka. Ketchikan refers to itself as the 'salmon capital of the world'.

Ketchikan harbor.

Dockside. Raining hard when we arrived.

Looking into the center of town. A hint of mountains inland.

Houses crowd the hills next to the harbor.

Center of town - tourist plaza.

This totem pole is in somebody's yard.

This one seems more contemporary in design.

These examples are on the front of the Totem Heritage Center.

A fishing boat steams back into harbor.

The Holland America 'Amsterdam' waits for us to board.

Cruise ships are a big business here!

We are escorted by the coast Guard leaving Ketchikan.

We have great weather for the last day heading to Victoria, B.C.
