On-Line Classes for Teens and Advanced Students

You'll find classes here for adults and older teens, and some resources suitable for younger high-achievers as well. There are also on-line classes for younger students in the various subject areas, such as Math. More parent and teacher helps are in the Helps section.

• Liberty University Accredited, check out their External Degree Program.

• Indiana University Division of Extended Studies On-line classes for either college or highschool.

• Math Forum-Swarthmore College On-line enrichment classes for high-potential kids. (Not free.) Often used by PS.

• This is the Virtual University Check them out for on-line personal interest, computer, and continuing education classes! Certificates available, classes have a small fee.

• ZDU Another on-line college, $4.95 a month.

• Escondido Tutorial Services Interactive on-line classes, including Shakespeare. Michael Farris of HSLDA highly recommends these in his new book "The Future of Home Schooling".

• Clonlara School Accredited HS Diploma by an Unschooling Umbrella, On-line classes available. Much information on how to calculate unusual credits.

• Eagle Christian High School Accredited, correspondance (email) and on-line classes.

• Educational Program For Gifted Youth EPGY has on-line children's classes

• The Discovery Channel School Use TV for school? Check it out! (Secular, but useful)

• CLG Education A South Carolina homeschooling family offering beginner classes in computer languages by email. Sample lesson on-line, more + German planned to come.

• Write Guide offers inexpensive lessons on various types of writing; also editing and tutoring services. They desire to work with parents and homeschooled students on projects you design, using any curriculum.
