Master Bathroom - August 2006

Contractor Frank Navarro and plumber Erik Muth started on our master bathroom remodel project on Monday, August 7, 2006. They both contributed some great design ideas. We'll see how it all plays out!

Day 1 (Monday, August 7)
Demolition Day!

Welcome to the family!Nicky contemplates joining our family

Bath tub is gone, shower doors are gone (I ripped the doors out myself), and there was NO water damage! This demo happened in just under 2 hours! Project is on track!

The white counter & sink are gone and the huge, plain mirror are now at the dump. The room looks much bigger, but it echos!

Day 2 (Tuesday, August 8)
Initial plumbing work and mud pan in shower floor

It's amazing how a little sheetrock cleans up the look!

Day 3 (Wednesday, August 9)
It gets worse before it gets better!

Day 6 (Monday, August 14)
Grout! Lights! Fan! Painting! Action!

Granite Counter Top - Fantastic!


With the granite counter top, new can lights in the shower and the tile grout, this bathroom is starting to look really nice!.

Day 7 (Tuesday, August 15)
The Mirror Goes Up!

Brushed nickel & walnut framed mirror.  Love it!Reflective quality of the large mirror finishes off the look!

Day 8 (Friday, August 18)
The shower fixture is completed! We can now use the shower!

Grohe fixtures. Multi water pattern including Rain & Champagne! Lights in the shower highlight the tile work.

Final Results!
With the exception of the frameless glass doors, the master bathroom is complete!
