TOWN OF NEW HAVEN-ADAMS COUNTY, WI

REGULAR MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING

FEBRUARY 18, 2010-7:00 P.M.

 

 

 

The regular monthly Town Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with all Town Board members in attendance.  This meeting was in compliance with the Open Meeting Law, and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  A motion was made by Brad Seiler/ Leo Musiedlak to approve the agenda as posted/printed.  M/C.  Minutes of the January 21, 2010 regular Monthly Town Board meeting were read by the Town Clerk and approved with a motion by Seiler/Musiedlak.  M/C.  The financial report was given by the Town Treasurer with the following balances as of January 31, 2010:  NOW account-$1,483.81, Berry Ridge Parking Fees-$688.48, Money Market-$30,840.52, Tax Account-$214,080.29 and Certificate of Deposit-$20,126.41.  Motion to accept the financial  report by Seiler/Musiedlak.  M/C.

 

Old Business:

 

Chairperson Julson brought some prices in for “emergency/911” signs, posts and installation.  They are as follows:  Adams County Hwy. Dept. for an 18”x10” flag style sign-$29.92, 16”x8”-24.45, posts 6.32 and approximate cost of installing each sign and contacting Diggers Hot Line-$15.00.  Prices from Lange, Enterprises, Inc. of Oconomowoc, WI are as follows:  Flag style-  20”x8”-17.65, 18”x6”-14.95, steel channel posts-$5.50 each and installation and contacting Diggers Hot Line-$7.10 each.  All signs reflectivity are 3M “High Intensity” compliant with the FHWA ruling.  Motion to table this agenda item was made by Musiedlak/Seiler and will be placed on the March 2010 agenda.  M/C.  Town Board members will be getting an approximate count of signs needed prior to this meeting.

 

New Business:

 

Resolution # 02-2010 was adopted calling for a Public Hearing to discuss the adoption of the New Haven Land Division Ordinance with a motion by Seiler/Musiedlak, all in favor, M/C.  The Public Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. to be held at the Town Hall, this hearing will be held prior to the Regular Monthly Town Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.

County Board Representative Licitar mentioned that Adams County Land & Water will be holding a tree and shrub sale for the public until March 31, 2010.  Also, the Clean Sweep for Adams County will be held on June 26, 2010 at the Adams County Landfill on Hwy 21, Friendship, WI.

 

Disbursements were presented by the Town Clerk and approved for payment by a motion from Musiedlak/Seiler, all in favor, M/C.  Motion to adjourn at 7:45 p.m. until the Public Hearing on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.  M/C.
