TOWN OF NEW HAVEN, ADAMS COUNTY, WI

REGULAR MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING OF:

THURSDAY, MAY 17, 2012-7:00 p.m. –TOWN HALL

 

      The  Regular Monthly Town Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Mike Julson with all Town Board members present.  Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  This meeting was properly noticed and a motion was made by Brad Seiler/ Lenny Watson to accept the agenda as presented for this meeting.  M/C.  Minutes of the Regular Monthly Town Board meeting of April 19 , 2012 were read by the Town Clerk and approved with a motion from Seiler/ Watson. M/C.  The financial report as of April 30, 2012 was read by the Town Treasurer with the following  balances:  NOW checking account: $17,099.27, Berry Ridge Parking Fees: $3,382.25 Money Market:  $73,808.73, Tax Collections: closed  and CD: $19,498.90, approved by Seiler/Watson. M/C.

OLD BUSINESS:

    No old business conducted at this meeting.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

    Motion by Seiler/Watson to approve an application for an Operator’s license for Kristin L. Fisher. M/C. 

The annual application to renew the Mobile Home Park license for Berry Ridge Estates located at 3863 Fifth Dr. was approved by Watson/Seiler. M/C.  A bid was received from Thome Enterprises for roadside mowing at $70.00 per hr. and accepted with a motion made by Seiler/Watson.  Chairperson will contact them as to a start date.

 

CHAIRMAN’S REMARKS:  Due to storm damage several weeks ago a culvert at the intersection of Golden Ave. and 3rd Ave. will need to be replaced before Gasser Construction is able to wedge and overlay Golden Ave.  The culvert has been ordered and delivered.  Chairperson  will  follow-up on the status of the Haddon Hollow legal non-conforming use permit with Adams Co. Planning & Zoning.  There was extensive  damage done to Gale Ct. with farm machinery, Julson is pursuing this with the Town Attorney.

      The vouchers for payment were read by the Clerk, and approved  by  Seiler/ Watson.  M/C.  This meeting was adjourned at 7 :25 p.m. until Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. with a motion being made by Seiler/Watson.  M/C.
