M/C.  The financial report as of May 31, 2012 was read by the Town Treasurer with the following  balances:  NOW checking account: $13,891.67, Berry Ridge Parking Fees: $4,240.49 Money Market:  $73,818.13, Tax Collections: closed  and CD: $19,498.89, approved by Watson/Seiler.     No old business conducted at this meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:

Motion by Seiler/Watson to approve the applications for alcoholic beverages, cigarette & operator’s licenses for the following businesses:  Club 23, The Cove, Wagon Wheel Campground, Lake Mason Campground and Antiques & Lace Inn, B&B. M/C.  An equipment lease from Lakes Gas Co. was not signed and returned at this time due to the Town Board  wanting to seek other local options for LP for the Town Hall. The road damage on Gale Ct. that was done by Manthey Farms of Pardeeville is still in the Town lawyer’s hands at this time, the adjuster for Manthey Farms wanted a more detailed proposal.  The Town Clerk received one from Scott Construction and was forwarded to the Town lawyer on June 19th.  In correspondence, the Town received a copy of the letter sent to the Haddon’s confirming that per their discussion with Phil McLaughlin, ACP&Z administrator, on June 5th, 2012 they are to cease renting their short-term rentals at the end of August 2012. Because they could not supply documentation proving the continuous dates of operation as Haddon Hollow, prior to the Town coming under Adams County Zoning in 1998, thus ending the legal non-conforming use they were previously granted.  If Adams Co. revises their Comprehensive Zoning Plan to allow B&B’s in a strictly Agricultural district, this property could apply for a Conditional Use.  It was mentioned from the audience that perhaps the Town Board should write a letter to the ACP&Z administrator stating that the municipality does not favor this change to the zoning plan.

The vouchers for payment were read by the Clerk, and approved  by  Seiler/ Watson.  M/C.  This meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. with a motion being made by Seiler/Watson.  M/C.
