Town of New Haven-Adams County

Caucus - January 15, 2009

 

The Town of New Haven Caucus was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairperson Mike Julson, Ken Crothers was nominated with a motion by Joan Byers/Rosemary Carlson  M/C  to officiate the caucus, Joan Byers and Anna Davis served as tabulators.  Nominations of candidates to be placed on the April 7, 2009 ballot for the following town board offices are as follows:

 

Town Chairperson: Bob Krause nominated by rosemary Carlson, Mike Julson nominated by Glenn Licitar and Leo Musiedlak nominated by Melvin Kingsley.  Results of the balloting were Krause-7, Julson-10, Leo Musiedlak-7.  Musiedlak declined the nomination leaving Julson and Krause on the ballot.

 

Supervisor 1:  Lenny Watson nominated by Adam Watson, Chuck Hill nominated by Rosemary Carlson and Brad Seiler nominated by Marie Kingsley.  Results of the balloting were Watson-9, Hill-7 and Brad Seiler 8.  Dennis Schmitz declined nomination. Watson and Seiler will appear on the Spring ballot.

 

Supervisor 11:  Leo Musiedlak nominated by Adam Watson, Chuck Hill nominated by Rosemary Carlson, Dennis Schmitz declined nomination.

 

Town Clerk:  Berniece J. Tangney nominated by Joan Byers.

 

Town Treasurer:  Carla Jermier nominated by Anna Davis, Conny Crothers nominated by Cheryl Coon,, Eileen Kessnich nominated by Bill Thomm.  Jermier declined nomination, leaving Crothers and Kessnich on the April ballot.

 

 

Motion to adjourn the caucus at 6:50 p.m. by Myron Byers/Lenny Watson.  M/C.
