TOWN OF NEW HAVEN/ADAMS COUNTY

SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

APRIL 22, 2009-7:00 P.M.

 

 

A Special Town Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Mike Julson.  All Town Board members were present and this meeting was in compliance with the open meeting law.  Motion by Leo Musiedlak/Brad Seiler to accept the agenda as printed. M/C. 

 

OLD BUSINESS:

Bids/quotes were read for the backfill material that will be needed to be placed around the culvert to be installed in the Big Spring Creek at Golden Court.  The first bid was from Wampler Enterprises, Endeavor, WI for approximately 125 loads of sand/clay material to be delivered onsite for $70.00 per load.  The second bid was from DNT Trucking of Poynette, WI for $68.00 per load of sand to be delivered onsite.  Motion by Seiler/Musiedlak to accept the bid of DNT Trucking.  M/C.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

One bid was received from Contech, Portage, WI for the culvert only that will be installed in Big Spring Creek for a steel 14’11” x 10’2” culvert at the price of $39,150.00.  An additional fuel surcharge per truck could be added to the quoted price.  The culvert will be delivered in two pieces.  D. L. Gasser Construction will be responsible for coordinating the unloading, excavating of backfill and installation of the culvert.  Motion by Musiedlak/Seiler to accept the bid of Contech.  M/C.
