Annual Town Meeting

April 15, 2010

The Annual Town Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Mike Julson.  This meeting was in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  There were ten (10) residents in attendance including the Town Board members.

The minutes of the 2009 Annual Town Meeting were read by the Town Clerk and approved as printed with  a motion by Rosemary Carlson/Brad Seiler.  M/C.  The 2009 Financial report was presented by the Town Clerk and approved with a motion by Ken Crothers/Rosemary Carlson.  M/C.

There was no Old Business discussed at this meeting.  Attendant's wages for the transfer-site were discussed with no action taken.  Rosemary Carlson suggested that a nylon flag be purchacsed that could be displayed on rainy election days.  It was determined to use the cotton one and let it dry after use.  Roadside clean-up was discussed and it was decided to have the Town Clerk place a notice in the paper to have residents clean up the their own properties along the road.  The Town Chairperson had gotten some numbers from Gasser Construction as to  paving and striping the parking lot.  It was indicated by the audience to "do what you have to do to make the parking lot handi-capped compliant.

The second Tuesday of April 2011 will be the next Annual Town Meeting.

Motion by Bill Ebert/Rosemary Carlson to adjour at 8:10 p.m.  M/C.
