SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

SEPTEMBER 24, 2005

 

 

AGENDA:  Reschedule Public Hearing date for Comprehensive Land Use Plan, previous date was October 20, 2005 at 6:00 p.m.

 

The special town board meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m. with all board members present.  After discussing the concern that the public hearing notice had to be legally published thirty (30) days prior to the public hearing, the days were counted between publishing date and the date for the public hearing and it would hardly be 30 days until October 20, 2005, including the week-ends.  After discussion  the date of Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. was unanimously agreed upon to be sure of complying with the 30 day requirement.

 

The Town Clerk will send public hearing notice into the Adams County Times for publication on September 27, 2005.

 

Meeting was adjourned with a motion by Byers/Krause at 1:30 p.m.  M/C.
