NEW BUSINESS;

Bob Krause a member of the Lake Mason Mgt. District approached the Town Board concerning the Municipal Public Boat Landing on the north side of Lake Mason off of Golden Dr.  According to minutes from the Lake Mason Lion’s Club they no longer wish to maintain the landing area.  Mr. Krause states that it is in much need of repairs, he also went on to ask the Town Board if they would approve the Lake District taking over the maintenance of the landing, there would be no cost to the Township he stated. It was determined that at the time the land was designated to be the Lake Mason Wonderland subdivision there was an easement to the lake that was donated to the town by the Musiedlak family.  Again, Clerk will speak to the Rural Insurance agent to inquire about liability issues for the town for the boat landing.  A motion was made by Watson/Seiler to approve the Lake District taking over the maintenance of the landing. An application along with the $10.00 fee was received from Mobile Home Park Store, Cedaredge, CO. to transfer the Berry Ridge Mobile Park license from the previous owner, Harold Labovic.  The Treasurer informed the Town Board that the two (2) months fees that they were delinquent on had been received. Motion was made and carried by Seiler/Watson to transfer the license between owners.  Adams Columbia Electric Co-op submitted their annual “blanket permit” to be allowed to do utility work in the municipal road-right-of -ways if needed, motion by Seiler/Watson to approve.  M/C.  An Application for transfer of license under section 125.04(12)(b) Wis. Stats., for the sale of fermented malt beverages and intoxicating liquor was submitted by Curt & Diana Van Schoyck, former owners of The Cove Supper Club.  The former owners received the establishment back in December 2012 from Lance J. Felitz due to a foreclosure and the VanSchoycks were court appointed in receivership.  Plan Commission members will receive the same compensation as last year being Chairperson $750 and all other members $200 with a motion by Watson/Seiler. M/C.  Disbursements were read by the Town Clerk and approved for payment by Seiler/Watson. M/C.  Meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m. by Watson/Seiler until Thursday, January 17, 2013.
