TOWN OF NEW HAVEN, ADAMS COUNTY, WI

 

MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING

DECEMBER 16, 2010-7:00 P.M.

 

 

 

The Regular Monthly Town Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Mike Julson. Roll call -all members were present with the exception of Leo Musiedlak who was excused and this meeting was properly noticed.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  The agenda for this meeting was approved with a motion by Brad Seiler/Mike Julson.  M/C.  The Town Clerk read the minutes of the Proposed Budget Hearing, Special Town Meeting of the Electors and Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting of November 18, 2010 and were approved with a motion from Seiler/Julson.  M/C.  The financial report prepared by the Treasurer was approved and carried with a motion from Seiler/Julson with the following balances as of November 30, 2010:  NOW account-$1,889.49, Berry Ridge Parking Fees-$8,279.40, M/Market-$54,586.69 and Certificate of Deposit-$14,280.92.

 

OLD BUSINESS;

None conducted at this meeting.

 

NEW BUSINESS;

The Caucus to nominate candidates for all positions on the Town Board to be placed on the Spring Election ballot for April 5, 2011 was scheduled to be held after the regular Monthly Town Board meeting of January 20, 2011 with a motion by Seiler/Julson.  M/C. It was decided that Plan Commission members:  Myron Byers, Jason Lindner, Bob Krause, Jane Bloss and Bob Donner will receive $100.00, and Chairperson Pete Joslin $500.00 by a motion made by Seiler/Julson, to show the Town’s appreciation for all they do and reimbursement for some expenses incurred.  M/C.  County Board representative Glenn Licitar and the Town Board discussed some of the changes for the Proposed County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.

Chairperson Julson reported that there were not any major issues on the snow removal and sanding after the most recent heavy snowfall of December 11 & 12.  There was no public comment at this time.  The invoices to be paid were read by the Town clerk and approved for payment with a motion by Seiler/Julson. M/C.  Motion at 7:50 p.m. by Seiler/Julson to adjourn until 5:30 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 for the Public Hearing on Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting and Caucus. M/C.
