North Central Wisc Regional Planning Commission - The NCWRPC is a voluntary association of governments established in 1973 under Wisconsin Statute s.66.0309, providing land use planning, zoning assistance, economic development strategies, CDBG program assistance, environmental planning, mapping and GIS, transportation plans, and other specialized studies.

 

 

Wisc PATS - Land Use - PATS (Program on Agricultural Technology Studies) seeks to ensure that the future of Wisconsin includes a strong agricultural economy that supports family farming, understands the role of farm families in strengthening rural communities, and values land stewardship.

 

Wisconsin Chapter of American Planning Association - WAPA, the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Planning Association, was created to facilitate the participation of members of the National American Planning Association ("APA") within Wisconsin. 

 

WAPA has three primary goals:

  to advance the art and science of planning in Wisconsin, 

  to encourage the exchange of information and planning experiences, and

  to advance the interests and welfare of the planning profession.

1000 Friends of Wisconsin - 1000 Friends of Wisconsin & the Land Use Institute were created to protect and enhance Wisconsin’s urban and rural landscapes by providing citizens with the inspiration, information and tools they need to effectively participate in the decisions that have the greatest impact on community health: where we live, work, learn, play and how we get from one place to another. We accomplish our work through three major efforts:

 

(1) Promoting Implementation of Smart Growth

(2) Policy Development and Advocacy
