TOWN OF NEW HAVEN, ADAMS COUNTY, WI

 

REGULAR MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING, THURSDAY, JULY 21, 2011- 7:00  P.M.

 

The Regular Monthly Town Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Mike Julson with all Town Board members present.  Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  This meeting was properly noticed and a motion was made by Lenny Watson/Brad Seiler to accept the agenda as printed for this meeting.  M/C.  Minutes of the Regular Monthly Town Board meeting of June 16, 2011 and the  Special  Town  Board  meeting  of July 2, 2011 were read by the Town Clerk and approved with a motion from  Seiler/Watson. M/C.  The financial report as of June 30, 2011 was given by the Town Treasurer with the following balances :  NOW checking account:  $4,515.03, Berry Ridge Parking Fees-$4,807.64, Money Market-$5,242.28, Tax Collections account-Closed  and CD-$19,394.82, approved by Watson/Seiler. M/C.

 

Old Business:

There was no old business conducted at this meeting.

 

New Business:

Town Board members discussed purchasing road signs for Golden Avenue.  Chairman Julson will compare prices in Madison to Adams County Hwy. Dept. quotes.  Kerry Palmer was issued an Operator’s  license  with a motion made by Seiler/Watson. M/C.  Several residents in attendance at this meeting brought to the Board’s attention two properties that are being rented out by the day or week.  Both of the properties have online contact and rental information including prices and dates available.  A motion was made by Seiler/Watson to have the Town Clerk file violation complaints with the Planning & Zoning Dept. as it is believed these properties are conducting a  non-permitted use. M/C.

 

  Motion by Seiler/Watson to  approve  the  disbursements  as  presented.  M/C.    This meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m. until August 18, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with a motion by Watson/Seiler.  M/C.
