Health & Safety Officer

• Maintains a list of parents who are CPR, First Aid certified, Food Handlers Certified and coordinate with Classroom Representative in teacher’s absence.
  
  
• Maintains immunization files for 2 day and 3 day class.
  
  
• Maintains notebook of immunization records. 
  
  
• Arranges monthly fire and earthquake drills with the Community Center to alternate between classes. 
  
  
• Works with Community Center on any safety concerns regarding the center space. 
  
  
• Collects & maintains emergency overnight kits for 2 and 3 day class.
  
  
• Checks first aid kit in classroom monthly.
  
  
• Educates members on sanitary classroom cleaning.  Educates members on emergency safety procedures.
