Welcome to our genealogy homepage updated as of August 2011. What originally started out as a an interesting sideline quickly grew into a rather challenging project with branches of our ancestors shooting out all over the place. Some of the names that you will find here (and we certainly had a hard time finding them!) can be traced back several centuries..........

Some of our ancestors were

Original settlers of Long Island in the late 1500's (van Voorhess, Golder)

Soldier in Montreal in 1637 (Hebert)

Brewry owner in Rensselaerwyck (around Albany, NY) in 1652 (van Nostrandt)

Founder of the Middletown Baptist Church, Monmouth, NJ and one of the holders of orginal patents for Monmouth, NJ (1665) and Gravesend, Long Island (1645) (Golder)

Survived the massacre at Deerfield, Massachusetts in 1704; kidnapped and taken to Montreal (Stebbins)

Brewmeister of the E. Porter Brewing Company in the late 1800's (Leser)

As well as some hard to find names such as Gravelin, Pitschmann, Wizzel-Penning, Fumat-Lajeunesse, and Quinlisk.

We currently have over two thousand and nine hundred individuals in our listings with more being added.
