Upgrading existing software installations:

If you already own a license to our software, use the following links to download the latest replacement executable files. Extract the zipped files into your existing software program folder, overwriting existing versions. This will work only if the first two numbers of the version are the same as the version of the executable file you are overwriting. For example, v6.0.04 can overwrite v6.0.01, but not v5.0.13.

Includes a new program titled MSC Shape Library Scanner for checking your existing library for problems (works with any version of MSC), and a new expanded shape library (delete or rename your existing Shapes folder, then run the new version of MSC which will install the new shapes library). Users of MSC 6.0 & earlier should replace their existing shapes library manually using one or both of the following files: English Shape Library, or Metric Shape Library.

The above files will only function as replacements of existing executable files. If you download them and try to run them without an existing full installation, the programs will not work. Use the "Demonstration Installations" below for the full installation. The demonstration software lacks the validation files necessary for full program operation, but are otherwise identical to the full retail packages.

On March 8, 2009, we replaced our development computer system. This caused all WMG programs except MSC to lose their linkage with two of our dynamic link libraries, and required us to recomplile the libraries. As a result, you cannot mix versions from before this date, with those from after. Attempting to do so may result in Run-time Error 429. To correct this, uninstall your existing WMG installation, download and install the "Demonstration Software" (it's the full version without validation files) from the link below, and install the updated version. As long as you install into the same program folder, you shouldn't need to revalidate.

Demonstration installations:

Download the following zip file, and extract the files to a folder. Then run the extracted "setup.exe" program to install the software programs. The demonstration installations will allow full usage of each program seven times, after which they run only in demonstration mode.
