Another side path that folks like "those" sometimes take is that phone call "from an India sounding person who says they are calling from Microsoft about your computer errors reporting". 

Almost guaranteed is that they want you to install some software to 'fix' your computer.

Also guaranteed is they want some personal information or payment via credit card.

I have just received my third such call in recent months from "those" people.

I always reply with "which" of my seven computers is sending out the errors? 

But they talk on still thinking I may give out some info. Really sad that such folks are out there trying to rip off anyone who will stay on the phone and follow their instructions.

I would think the very statement they "claim" to be working for Microsoft would be a reason for a rich guy like Bill to get those kinds of people locked up.
