Something to look for when
Buying Eggs
at the store
Everyone has seen the 'Sell By" date.
But there's another date that's even
more telling.
That would be
the date that carton was filled with eggs.
Look closely, its there.
Three digits
It's the day of the year the carton was filled
Today is day
of the current year.
Remember that the day printed on the carton will have 3 digits.
So until sometime in March, there will be a leading 0.
Choose the one with the day of the year closest to today's day of the year.
