What About Creation?

"The best data we have (concerning the origin o f the universe) are exactly what I would have predicted, had I nothing to go on but the five books of Moses, The Psalms, and the Bible as a whole." -- Nobel winning physicist Arno Penzias

"Only a rookie who knows nothing about science would say science takes away from faith.  If you really study science, it will bring you closer to God" -- Nano-scientist James Tour , Rice University

"The vast mysteries of the universe should only confirm our belief in the certainty of its Creator.  I find it as difficult to understand a scientist who does not acknowledge the presence of a superior rationality behind the existence of the universe as it is to comprehend a theologian who would deny the advances of science" -- Werner von Braun, the father of space science

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Gen 1:1 (NIV)

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Ps 19:1 (NIV)

"Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God." Ps 90:2 (NIV)

"In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands."
Ps 102:25 (NIV)

"How many are your works, O LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures." Ps 104:24 (NIV)

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-- his eternal power and divine nature-- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, ....." Rom 1:20 (NIV)

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Ps 139:13-14 (NIV)

"For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together." Col 1:16-17 (NIV)

WHAT ABOUT THEISTIC EVOLUTION?

"Einstein said, "God does not play dice." He was right. God Plays Scrabble." -- Philip Gold

Evolution is based on the workings of random forces.  God guided evolution is a conflict in terms to describe  slow creation.

In his ensuing career as an award-winning journalist at the Chicago Tribune, science had made the idea of a Creator irrelevant - or so Stobel thought. But today's science is pointing in a different direction. http://www.caseforacreator.com/home.php
