How do I restore my backed-up files to my computer?

If the program is NOT already installed on the computer: You will need to re-install the Backup & Sharing program back onto the computer. Upon installation you will need to enter the subscription key, then click the Next button. Click the Restore Files button. You will need to enter the email address and password that was originally used when the program was first installed. Then click the Next button. Choose which profile to restore from the list (if more than one computer was backed up), then click the Next button. Many users will probably opt for the Restore all to bring all of their files back to this computer, then click the Next button. Choose a location to place the restored files. The default will most likely be to restore the files to a new folder on the desktop. Click the Next button once the location has been selected. Then click the Start button to begin the restore process.

If the program is already installed on the computer: Open your Backup & Sharing program. Click the Restore option from the user interface. If you choose to restore all files, choose Restore all. You will then be asked to choose a place to restore those files. The default will be a new folder on your desktop. Once that selection is made, click the Restore button.

If you only wish to install certain files or folders instead of all files and folders, then select Restore by files and folders. Put a check in the box next to any files and folders you wish to restore now, then click on the Restore button.
