Adjust Virtual Memory & Preferences

By clicking Virtual Memory & Preferences you will accomplish the following steps:

Preferences:

• Open Control Panel
• Click System
• Click Advanced tab
• In the Performance section, click Settings button
• Click option for "Adjust for best performance"

Virtual Memory:

• Open Control Panel
• Click System
• Click Advanced tab
• In the Performance section, click Settings button
• Click the Advancedtab in this window
• Click Virtual Memory
• Click Change
• Click Custom Size
• Set this to 1.5 times the amount of RAM that is currently on the computer
• Click Set
• Click OK
• Click Apply
• Click OK
• Click OK
