Disable Unneeded Folder Options

By clicking Disable Unneeded Folder Options you will accomplish the following steps:

While in Windows Explorer...

• Click Tools
• Click Folder Options
• Click the View tab
• Now disable to following options:
  • Display file size information in folder tips
  • Display simple folder view in Navigation pane
  • Hide extensions for known file types
  • Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color
  • Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items
• Click Apply
• Click OK
