Mt Angel - St Mary's Church Tour

St Mary's Church in Mt Angel was built in 1912 and completely renovated after the Spring Break Quake in 1993. This magnificent church brings to mind European cathedrals and features extensive stenciling around the ceiling arches and 26 stained glass windows, some imported from Europe.

Truck Museum Tour

Friday morning most of the men "trucked" on over to Brooks to visit the Truck Museum. This is a unique museum with some of the trucks dating back to the early 1900s. Most of the trucks have been painstakingly restored and are in like new operating conditions. Terry D gave us a thorough tour and explained the intricacies of each model. He also informed us of the many Northwest inventers and innovators who have shaped the modern trucking industry.
