The USS Suffolk AKA-69 was an attack cargo ship that served America
in world war two. She was loved by her crew and by the crew of the USS Henrico APA-45. The Henrico was hit by a Kamakaze during
the invasion of Okinawa and the Suffolk risked her own safety by towing her to the Kerama Retto Harbor.
