Dale Pequignot: Lead vocals, drums. In the late 1960’s, Dale was the drummer and lead singer for Howdy and the Relcknees. Like JYB, they were a dance / party rock n’ roll band. Dale’s tenure as a Relcknee gave him the experience needed to help found the Junk Yard Band. |

Rick D Brown: Saxophone, guitar, keyboards, vocals. The newest member of the JYB, Rick is the only "professional" musician with an M.A. in music from Ball State University and a full-time gig as a private woodwind instructor. Rick played his first professional musical job at age 15 and moonlights now as a jazz and studio musician. Just for fun, Rick runs away to the circus for a week each year to play in the band. |

Don Miles: Drums, keyboards, vocals. Don hails from Indianapolis. Don started playing drums at age 14 and immediately began jamming with friends from school. While attending college at Purdue, he started a power trio called Panacea that did mostly rock covers but also wrote some original material. Once out of college he played with a benevolent group of musicians called People Helping People that played current pop tunes free of charge for non-profit organizations around Indianapolis. After settling down in Fort Wayne, Don sat in with a soft rock/jazz trio and played in the hard rock bands Modern Day Outlaws and Jailbreak before taking over Dale’s JYB drumming chores in 1993. Now relocated back in Indianapolis, Don still continues to provide JYB with his rock-steady percussion. |
