“He who can reach a child’s heart can reach the world’s heart.”
--Rudyard Kipling

  Hello!
Thank you very much for taking the time to read our letter and for considering open adoption. Our lives have already been blessed by open adoption and we look forward to adopting again. We think we are a great family and we want you to know us!

We are Tony and Angie Rieger. We have been happily married for 8 years. We make our home in Sherwood
, Oregon. Sherwood is a small town near Portland that is nestled between lovely farms and rolling hills. Known for its awesome schools and for being a family-oriented town, Sherwood is a great place to live and we love it!

We are unable to have biological children and so we turned to open adoption. Our daughter, Natalie was lovingly placed with us from birth by her wonderful birthmom and our entire family was overjoyed. Natalie’s open adoption has been a gift and we dream of the day when we get to welcome another child into our family.

Our newly built home is large and overlooks a pond that draws lots of animals. We love to see the deer drink water, listen to the frogs, and watch the ducks swim around. We live in a friendly neighborhood with lots of children and a new park is just around the corner. We like to get some friends and load up the wagon for a trek to the part on a warm summer afternoon. What fun!

We are committed to each other and our family. We are very excited about becoming parents again and reliving the joys of a new baby. We are loving, attentive parents and hope to enjoy a warm, open relationship with our birthmother. We can only begin to understand the courage and unselfish love you must have within you. Please call us toll free at 1-800-419-1099 pin #77, or email us at tnarieger@verizon.net. Another option is to call the Independent Adoption Center at 800-877-OPEN or visit their website at www.adoptionhelp.org/birthmother.html. We look forward to hearing your hopes and dreams and sharing ours with you.

Our trip to the mountains was so much fun!

Fondly,

Tony, Angie and Natalie Rieger
