Comments: These open cars cars were part of the
same order as similar No.'s 260-273. But these last six were center
aisle trailers and they were enclosed at an earlier date (1910-11).
Soon after being enclosed they were transferred to Piedmont Carbarn (where
the photo above was taken) and assigned to the St. Johns Line.
Retirement: 1933.
Technical Notes: Rebuilt as closed cars with PAYE (pay
as you enter) style platforms 1910-11. |
