Comments: No. 450 was another one-of-a-kind car.
Unique in Portland, it served as the prototype for a new series of cars
called "Torontos." The car was built in Ontario, Canada by Preston
Car Co. and brought to Portland by the City & Suburban Ry. Co., for
which it was originally numbered 150. It was a convertible design
which could be changed into an open car through removal of side panels.
Retirement: 1933
Technical Notes: Converted to one-man operation in 1920.
Listed as unserviceable by 1928. |
