GamePlay Tips:

Tip: While using SARH missiles (i.e. AIM-7), fire at one aircraft, then switch target early in missile's flight. The first targeted aircraft will deploy chaff while the missile hones in on the newly selected target.


TiP: Use Autopilot to taxi up to the catapult. Once on the cat, press A and F in quick succession to switch to manual launch with flaps down.


Tip: Avoid being gunned down by a bandit on your six o'clock by flying below 200' AGL.


Tip: Not all aircraft have 'Look Down, Shoot Down' firing systems. For older aircraft, fly at or below your enemy's altitude in order to achieve missile lock.


Tip: For super cruise, set your waypoints to a high speed. While in flight, reach that speed and hit Autopilot.


Tip: JDAMs are Fire and Forget. Laser Guided Bombs can change targets mid-flight.


Tip: If 'Select Plane' is not working properly in a campaign that uses the 'Select Plane' feature, exit Fighters Anthology and restart the game.


Tip: Remote targetting: 1. Select target from radar. 2. Hit Alt-F1 3. Pan around and select targets.


Tip: Are you seeing funny rainbow stripes on your aircraft?  Turn off Gouraud Shading in the graphics section.
