Always wanted to make your own chat sounds? I know how. First, you need a sound editor capable of saving raw audio files (ext RAW). First, select the sound file U want. If necessary, cut the part U want and past it into a new file. Change the sampling to 5500 k. Then save as an 8-bit unsigned mono file. But change the ext from RAW to 5k. Save it to your FA directory. Then edit the chat.txt file and add your new sound files (and messages if you want) and presto. You may have to tweak the 5k files incase they sound bad. I used Goldwave as a sound editor. It's a good editor. I've enclosed a link to the Goldwave homepage.
