The cluster bomb explosion type is a flag set in the same word as the ordnance parameters. I don't know which bit must be set (not yet, anyway), but I will tell you this: if you change anything in the ordnance parameter dialog, the cluster bomb will no longer use its special explosion. In the Ordnance Parameter dialog, the "Free-Fall Arc" setting has nothing to do with the weapon's glide path capability. Rather, this setting merely gives you the CCIP HUD symbology (plus, possibly changing the "spread" of 3-pack and 6-pack weapons). In the Ordnance Parameter dialog, the "Ordnance is a Gun" check box does 4 things:
1. The weapon loads on to the aircraft with a fip-fip-fip sound rather than a ka-chunk.
2. The weapon uses the LCOS HUD symbology.
3. The weapon can be auto-slewed (this is a change from ATF where missiles can be auto-slewed also. For some unknown reason, EA removed that capability in Nato).
4. The weapon will fire in salvo (one at a time), rather than full ripple (all at once), up to the number entered in "Firing Parameters" ... "Game Rounds in a Single Burst".
