"Provides AWACs Information" ?!?! Not. This flag is a dummy flag. It doesn't have any effect in ATF Gold (though it does in USNF 97). You see the makers of ATF Gold decided to stick with their JTIDS-like data link rather than use USNF 97's vector-control AWACs. Not that I'm complaining. :)
How to Make AWACS, J-STARS
or J-TIDS
Well, all you need to do is change one parameter and that is it. Use
the follow key for what you want:
$2005: AWACS
(like E-3)
$4005: J-STARS (like E-8)
$6005: J-TIDS (Both air and ground remote radar)
Scroll down in the PT file until you find this:
