The overall agency’s mission is to assist people with disabilities
to prepare for, obtain and retain employment.
Information
Technology System Specialist 4 (June 2007 to present)
§
Independently support of information systems and users in an
assigned area of responsibility, performs consulting, deployment, installation,
maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and technical support for
applications, hardware, databases, network infrastructure equipment.
§
Manage seven Windows 2003 file/print servers and 90+ Windows
XP desktop/laptop machines in eight DVR offices in
§
Set-up accounts and reset passwords in Active
Directory. Performs full and incremental
back-up jobs on regional server by using ARCserve Backup Manager application.
§
Update and maintain clone images and hard drives for
different computer setups. Use Norton’s
Ghost and Acronis True Image tools to clone hard drives.

Periodically check the network to detect any potential
problems areas such as printer, server and computer failures. Make sure all computers are online and
receive the recent antivirus updates McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator console.
