The Proposal

We were vacationing in Peru with our friends AJ & Mary who had just been married two weeks ago. On the 6th day of our vacation we hiked to the top of Wayna Picchu at Machu Picchu Inca ruins in the Andes Mountains. Glenn and I were in the clouds after our 1-hour hike up the mountain. Our friend AJ was videotaping our accomplishment of making it to the top of the mountain when Glenn began to say we were in heaven and he could see cloud 9. There was no room to get down on one knee since we were sitting on huge boulders on top of the world. So, he pulled out a ring he bought in Peru and asked me to marry him. I could barely get the words "Of course I'll marry you" out of my mouth because I immediately began to cry. I still get all teary-eyed just thinking about it.
