In our efforts to bring you more history of the Westonka area, regardless of where you live, we are making our history videos available to you via YouTube on the Internet. You can view the videos anytime, anywhere using YouTube on your smartphone, tablet, computer or smart TV. These history videos range in length from 2-minutes to 2-hours (some in multiple parts).
Some of these videos were created from scratch, some are re-packaged LMCC videos and many are VHS tapes that were rescued from the historical scrap pile, digitized and edited.
Topics include the history of Westonka area hotels, schools, streetcar boats, railroads, Big Island Park, Tonka Toys, Andrews Sisters, businesses, city histories, presentations by local historians and much more.
