Indiana - Hoosier Hill - 1,257 Feet - June 26, 2005

Sunday, June 26, 2005 - We walked over to the arch, rode to the top, and spent some time in the museum. Security was tight. We then drove through Illinois and most of Indiana to route 227. We took 227 north for about 10 miles to Bethel Road where we turned left (west) and drove about a mile to Elliot Rd. We turned right (north) on Elliot and drove about a quarter mile to the highpoint on the left. There was a gravel parking area and bench. As we were leaving two guys arrived with an old fiberglass kayak and a sit on top. We drove back to I-70 and then home.
