Sunday August 1, 2010 - Five Alabamians, one Texan, and I met at Alpine Ascents at 6 am. We drove to Paradise in Rocky Mountain National Park, stopping
along the way for breakfast. Our guides were Don Carpenter, Sarah Carpenter, Seth Timpano, and Eitan Green. All were very good. The hike to Muir Camp took about six hours.
Our Texan bailed.

Tuesday August 3, 2010 - We started climbing around 12:30 am and arrived at the summit around 6:30 am. We crossed several small crevasses and one large
crevass. A ladder with boards spanned the large one. There was a rope handrail also. One climber descended to high camp with a guide from our first break.
Five of us made it to the crater and three to the summit. We made good time back to high camp, packed up the rest of our gear, and were in the parking lot
by 4 pm. We ate at Copper Creek Restaurant and then drove back to Seattle.
