1995 Statue of Liberty and Twin Towers Photograph
This is a photograph that I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take in 1995. A friend of mine and I were in his helicopter, traveling from the Solberg-Hunterdon airport in New Jersey to LaGuardia. Was quite an adventure navigating up the Hudson VFR corridor there, avoiding traffic and taking in the sights. We took a moment to enjoy the view of Ms. Liberty and the harbor on that very rare good-weather day. I happened to snap this shot of our Liberty framed with the New York skyline and the Twin Towers in the background. It's really an impressive photo - seems as though Ms. Liberty is paying tribute to the Towers. Reminds me of how our lives were changed in 2001 and what our country means to me.
She'll never forget and neither will I.
This photo is available for purchase. I have a True Color electronic version (1200 x 1500) approximately 1.7MB, 8x10 1400dpi color prints, and 8X10 photo enlargements. Of course, we can produce just about any size and quantity - suitable for framing, posters, handouts, whatever.
