Wow!
Fall is finally here! I know we didn’t have much of a summer but
I do love these crisp fall mornings with the colors of nature
turning their warm & festive hues!
We’ve got lots of new Fall projects in the shop! Our new love
is of course the wool projects! I’ve always loved them…they are
just so …I don’t know…COZY! It’s really fun to take old wool
sweaters, jackets etc. and Ren”EWE” them with new purpose! It’s
inexpensive & fun! We have a great schedule of some of these
little projects….most are make and take it classes! Perfect to
learn how, then you can go home & make up some really cute
inexpensive gifts for the holidays!
By
popular demand, we will also be starting up a Block of the Month
again, although it won’t start until January. We also are
planning a table topper of the month and a “Penny for a Penny”
monthly project. Lots of new fun stuff.
Don’t forget, Peggy is here for FREE Help on the First Tuesday
of each month from 10-4 in the classroom. If you are a teacher
or a student, keep in mind also that the classroom is available
for FREE use if you have your own group or class. You just have
to let us know ahead of time so we can get you on the schedule.
It’s also available to sewing groups, either on a regular basis
or temporary one….great place to get together to work on your
own or group projects!
We
have lots of new “sewing events” scheduled also, such as the
Second Saturday Sewing Smorgasbord! Be sure and check out the
schedule & description of the events…
We
have the “All treats No Tricks” coming up Halloween week….bring
in at least five non-perishable food items….they can be soap,
toothpaste, diapers as well…even toilet paper! We’ll donate it
all to the local food bank…and you get treats for your
generosity! It’s a win-win! There are lots of people struggling
out there right now (still), I’m sure we can always find a
little something to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
We
have lots of fun new fabrics in….come get inspired! We’ve got
more extra wide flannel as well as the best selection around of
regular cotton extra wide backings in some great colors and
prints!

We list the class schedule there as well as update it with
photos of new fabric when it comes in and all sorts of fun
stuff. Put “The Quilted Hill Quilt Shop” in the search
field……then “like” us…..it’s fun!
Ok,
off to get some of many Fall projects under way! Always
something to do in the shop and Amanda is feeling the need for a
re-do…..in the shop that is!

Fall
is finally here! I love the ever changing colors, the crisp fall

have been getting creative and have added a new line-up of
classes and fun events to our schedule and there will be more to

I
have LOTS to do and I always get in the cleaning mode in fall
so….you guys might be benefiting from it!

I’m also in the mood to do something fun and exciting in the
shop, but we’ll see how long that process takes…I have grand
illusions, but everything is still in the “planning” process! Be
sure to come and check out all the new fabric that’s been coming
in-We’ve gotten some neat stuff in!
