Moravian Sugar Cake
This makes a great Sunday breakfast.
When we traveled to bike races,
Nancy made this in muffin tins for individual cakes that were easy to eat in the car.
If you aren't feeding hungry bikies and you don't want
to store extra cakes or muffins in the freezer,
you can cut the dough recipe down to the size you want.
Make the kids do it to learn why there are fractions.

1 recipe Cinnamon Rolls
|
1/2 cup butter
|
|
1 cup brown sugar
|
cinnamon and brown sugar
|
- Spread the dough in 3 buttered 9-inch round pans, 3 8-inch square pans, or a bunch of muffin tins.
- Let the dough rise.
- Very carefully, make indentations in the dough. Make one in each muffin or a bunch in each cake.
- Blend the brown sugar and butter and put a dab of this in each indentation.
- Sprinkle the tops with the cinnamon and brown sugar. We use 1 measure of cinnamon to 3 of sugar.
- Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes.
