Hoosier Daddy's
BrickLink Store

The vast majority of the pieces in my shop are new. This means that they will not have teeth marks, dirt, scratches, etc. on them. I have heard of some Bricklink sellers using plastic gloves when sorting their new pieces. I'm afraid I'm not quite that extreme. If you receive an order from me and want to inspect the parts with a magnifying glass, there will most likely be some of my fingerprints here and there from counting and sorting the parts.

When I send an order, I will stack the parts before I pack them. For example, if you order 20 trans-green 1X2 bricks, they will be packed like this:

instead of this:

I won't, however, stack plates with all 4 edges aligned; I'll stagger them so that it's possible to get them apart without a brick seperator.

So in case the mail man decides to go postal and poke a hole in the box, the pieces are less likely to spill out. Stacking parts also helps me keep my store's inventory exact since stacked parts are easier to count than piles of parts. Stacked pieces also don't rub and scratch each other as much compared to loose pieces.

I accept the following payment methods:
· PayPal
· Cashier's checks
· Money orders

* New Payment policy *
The vast majority of my customers pay by PayPal, which is perfectly fine. However, if you pay by PayPal, you must send the entire order total in one single payment. If I receive multiple payments that add up to the order total, or if I receive a single payment that is different from the order total, I will refund the payment(s) to you. I will then reinvoice the order with a $1.00 service fee. This ensures that your account shows that you sent a payment for the correct/invoiced amount, and my account shows that I received the correct amount from you. It protects us both.
You may be asking yourself, "But why would anyone send multiple PayPal payments for one order or send the wrong amount?" This is the Internet... I can't explain why, but stuff like that happens.

If you have any questions, please email me at

A note on feedback
There are a few sellers here on Bricklink who are anal retentive about their feedback. For some reason they don't leave feedback for the buyer until after the buyer leaves feedback for them. This is not how it should to go.
The seller leaves feedback based on one thing--payment. If the buyer pays quickly, the seller should leave positive feedback. This is what I do. As soon as a buyer pays me for their order, I leave positive feedback. I DO NOT wait for the buyer to leave me feedback.
Since the seller gets their money before the buyer gets their LEGO, it's the seller's responsibility to be the first to leave feedback for the transaction. Therefore, once you pay for an order from my store, you can expect to see your feedback score go up by 1 before your order arrives.

I have had sellers ship an order before my payment cleared (like when I use a PayPal echeck). If I get my LEGOs before the seller gets their money, then I most certainly will leave feedback first.

Miscellaneous shipping notes:
· If you're outside of the USA, it might take me a little longer to find out what your shipping cost will be.
· I assume that you don't want special Next Day shipping, delivery confirmation, insurance, etc. unless you specifically ask for it.
· If you want your order sooner that 1st Class shipping speed, let me know in the "comments" box of the order that you want priority shipping.
· I mail orders in boxes instead of bubble envelopes. I have received Bricklink orders before in bubble envelopes and thought to myself, "I sure wish the seller had packed this in a box instead to make sure that none of the fragile things got smashed." Upgrading from a bubble envelope to a box costs mere pennies, so the packing materials fees worked into the shipping price are minimal. All of the fees for packing materials (plastic baggies, boxes, bubble wrap, etc.) are combined with the shipping cost instead of being added as an additional fee. I find it simpler to do it this way, and hopefully you do to.
· The postage costs for original boxes or instructions will be WAY more than the cost of the items themselves (especially the boxes), since I price my boxes and instructions so low. (Many are under 10¢.) The Post Office charges extra for very large packages, so even though a large, empty and flattened box might not weigh much, it can cost a lot to send. Generally it's only the large boxes that are over 12 inches in length that run into this problem. (For instance, a large box that I sell for 10¢ might cost $9.00 to mail.) Sometimes I can send boxes Parcel Post instead of Priority Mail to save you money. Basically it works out to where you live--the farther you are from zip code 47905, the more it would cost to send the box.
· I don't smoke, so the pieces you receive from me won't stink. I don't even fart when packing orders!
· I don't have any pets, so you will never find animal hair in your order.
· There are NO lot limits.
· All messages asking to change the price on something will be ignored. This isn't a garage sale.

Miscellaneous payment notes:
· If your mailing address listed here on Bricklink is different than your address listed on PayPal, I will find this mighty suspicious. If your Bricklink and PayPal addresses don't match, then expect me to contact you asking why. If you leave instructions in the order comments to ship the order to a different address than the one you have listed here on Bricklink, please let me know why.
· Although I offer payment options of Cashier's checks and money orders (which, of course, would need to be mailed to me) in addition to PayPal, the vast majority of my customers pay by PayPal. This is what I'm used to, so I often send invoices with instructions to pay me through PayPal to my email address without even remembering to look to see if the buyer chose PayPal as their payment option. If this happens to you, and you want to pay by Cashier's Check or money order, please ignore my invoicing error. My postal address should be available to you when you view the order on Bricklink, so in the event of that type of invoicing error, you would still retain the ability to mail me payment.
