Derek Hay Video Engineering

This is a six camera show I have worked on eleven times; the first four times in Standard Definition and the last seven in HiDef. I was one of two engineers for the first few shows; but now that the size and complexity of the show and system has grown, the staffing has been increased to three engineers. I have been responsible for shading cameras, some of the wiring, setting up the 3 closed caption boxes and fiber optic transmission equipment, and operating the two RoboCams. The first picture shows the Hi-Def system owned by PSAV, and the lower pictures show one of their Component Analog systems that was used for TechReady 1 thru 4. I have also engineered other Microsoft shows with this analog system.
