Biographical Sketches of Memorable Christians (http://justus.anglican.org/resources/bio/index.html) "Stories of the people who, through the centuries, have made the Christian church be what it is today." This is a real labor of love by James Kiefer of Bethesda, Maryland.

The Varieties of Religious Experience (www.csp.org/experience/
james-varieties/james-varieties.html). A complete online text of William James' collected lectures at Edinburgh University in 1901. Considering religion not as it is defined by--or takes place in--churches, but as it is felt in everyday life, James undertook a project that stands as a vitally serious contemplation of spirituality and one of the greatest works of nonfiction of the 20th century.

The Alpha Course (www.alphausa.org). The North American website of the Alpha Course, a 10-week introduction to the basics of Christianity. Weekly meetings discuss topics such as "What is the point of life?... What happens when we die?... What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?... How do we deal with guilt?"
