YOUR RIGHTS / MY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This site does NOT use any type of user tracking.  The only thing that I track is the number of users that accessed my site.

    If I have to use your password(s), such as for repairing (and testing) your system or helping you set up your internet account, these will be kept STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL.  Before leaving your house or after returning your computer to you, all copies of your password(s) will be destroyed for your safety.  If you have ANY doubts, you are more than welcomed to change your password(s) after I leave or after I return your computer to you.  If you are able and know how, you are even welcomed to set up a temporary password if you insist on password protection.  That way, after I leave, you can put your permanent password back in.  If I am at your house and a limited use of your password(s) is required, I may just ask you to enter it yourself for your piece of mind.

    You have the right to an estimate on how long things will take and the estimated total costs before the work begins.  If I forget, please kindly remind me.  I am only human!

    If your computer is brought to my house for repair, I will try to keep it secure while in my possession.

    Hardware replacement / repairs will be covered with a 90-day warranty EXCEPT for damage due to acts of nature (thunderstorms, floods, windstorms, and the like), tampering, vandalism, and accidents.  If a part has a warranty longer than 90 days, that part's warranty will be honored.  However, labor costs will still apply.

    You have the right to be treated with respect--Unless your name is Saddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden or some other creep!

    Your computer data will be kept strictly confidential.  It's YOUR data and YOUR business!

    If undesirable results are likely, such as when removing adware and/or spyware, you have the right to be notified of possible problems.  Some programs will not work properly, if even at all, when their ad components are removed.

    If I have to diagnose an email problem, I may need to look at a few of your emails.  However, I will NOT read them word per word, but just quickly glance at them to see if they are appearing normal.
Again, it is YOUR data!  I am very sensitive about other people's property and data.  If I have to pick an email to read, I will try to pick one that does not appear personal.

    You have a right to compensation / replacement in the event that I would accidentally damage something.

    If I miscalculate the time (for billing purposes) or forget to keep track of it, it will be MY LOSS and YOUR GAIN!

    I am quite sociable and comfortable with touch.
 
 

    All fees are due and payable on the day that services are rendered or when your computer is returned to you, unless special arrangements are made.  I WILL accept checks with delayed dating (up to one month later).

    Before coming to my house, you MUST call first, to make sure that I am home.  I could be out on a house call.  I will NOT be responsible for computer equipment "dropped off" outside at my house.

    If I come to your house, you must provide for a reasonable level of safety for me.

    I STRONGLY urge you to NOT have animals around when I am working at your house.  I am NOT an animal lover, and I am unable to think straight, particularly if they are pestering me.

    Do not ask me to give or sell you pirated software.

    I do NOT enjoy working in filthy conditions that resemble third-world conditions!  While normal dust is tolerated, feces and urine are not!  I also don't enjoy working in houses that smell like a dog pound.

    I have the right to immediately leave your house if I am treated poorly (treated like chicken crap).  If such is the case, a bill may be sent to you by postal mail and may have $20 added to it.  Please don't test me!

    Please treat me with respect.  Remember the golden rule as given by Jesus Christ:  "Treat others the way you would have them treat you; This sums up the Law and the prophets."  (part of Matthew 7:12)

    I am not liable for any accidents that may occur on your or my premises.
